I'm sorry to come here and ask for help, but i've looked everywhere else and I couldn't find an answer. I recently got 'The OddBoxx Collection' on Steam for Windows 10. I 'm using a PS4 controller so I made a custom controller configuration set in Steam for Abe's Oddysee.
I got it working perfectly but to do it I had to set the ps4 buttons to keyboard inputs in Steam. When I do this in Abe's Oddysee doesn't even detect my controller, it just thinks i'm using a keyboard. I tried this method with Abe's Exoddus and my controller didn't do anything, even if I go into the controller settings and switch from keyboard to gamepad and vice versa or mess with the controller configurations in game. I tried using the software DS4 to make Windows 10 think i'm using a Xbox controller but it did the same thing.

I also tried a software called AntiMicro to make my PC think my controller inputs were keyboard inputs, this works alright but I couldn't select an Input for speak 1 or 2 under the keyboard configurations options. When I go into the gamepad options it doesn't take my inputs to change the configuration. I looked at the Steam community forums for help but I couldn't find anything, all I found was people asking the same questions I am. I also searched on google but to no avail. Is there anything I can do to make a controller using Steam configurations work with Abe's Exoddus?, and how do I set configurations to speak 1 or 2 if I do to?
